Research and Development Center BM Taizhou was officially established

The forensic identification kit project realized by BM Shenzhen in Taizhou Medicine City at the end of 2023 is an important manifestation of our company’s R&D strength and innovative ability. This project not only marks BM’s profound development in forensic science and technology, but also heralds new breakthroughs in forensic identification technology in the future.

As a key scientific tool in court, forensic identification kits are playing an increasingly important role in the investigation and detection of crimes and criminal trials. As the report notes, DNA evidence is known as the “king of evidence” and plays a crucial role in identifying crime suspects, identifying kidnapped children and characterizing drug cases. BM Shenzhen’s forensic identification kit project responds to this need and aims to develop more sensitive and accurate forensic identification tools. The main objective of the project is to improve the sensitivity and stability of the kits, especially in difficult cases of contact samples, inhibition and degradation.

The upcoming Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) fillers and silica gel membranes project at BM’s Dongguan plant marks a significant step forward in cost control for BM’s Life Sciences business. This initiative will not only improve production efficiency and ensure product quality, but also significantly reduce production costs through vertical integration of the supply chain. As an indispensable material in chemical analysis and biomedical research, the expansion of independent production of fillers for solid-phase extraction will provide a solid material basis for BM’s continuous innovation and research in life sciences. At the same time, the silica gel membrane production will further improve the company’s product line and enhance its competitiveness in the market.
